Due to high demand, we are currently not accepting new dog sitting requests until further notice.

Cat sitting and limited dog walking services are still available.

Thank you for understanding!

No matter the situation, your pup is always our priority! We‘re here to make sure their needs are met – whether it‘s an energetic release during a busy workday, or just a quick check–in while you‘re relaxing on the weekend. Just bark, and we‘ll be there!

We firmly believe that looking after cats is the best thing ever. During our cat visits, we make sure they have plenty of catnip, and we play with them using a laser pointer to keep them happily occupied until you get back home from work.

We just got back from 12 days in Japan, and I have to say, choosing Arroyo Pet to watch our cats Beau and Mochi was one of the best decisions we made for this trip. I’ll admit, being halfway across the world while your fur babies are at home is nerve-wracking, especially for that long. Arroyo Pet made it so much easier than I expected. Gricel and the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Every single visit came with updates, photos, and genuine care that showed they actually loved on our cats, not just checked a box. The communication was spot on the entire time. I never had to wonder how Beau and Mochi were doing because I always knew. Coming home to two happy, healthy, well-fed cats who clearly had been showered with attention meant everything. It’s rare to find a pet sitting service you can fully trust, and Arroyo Pet has earned ours completely. We will absolutely be using them for every trip going forward, and I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for pet care that treats your animals like family. Thank you, Arroyo Pet team, for giving us peace of mind so we could actually enjoy our trip!

My disabled brother lives in Palatine and he recently got a new dog named Parker. After careful research and some phone conversations, we identified Arroyo Pet for dog walking services. After the initial interview with Gricel Arroyo, we knew we had found the right team........ What we have received is far beyond any standard dog walking service! The Team is great, caring, and interesting people. They provide updates to my brother (and to me) about every walk with Parker, they give him fresh water and feed him, if necessary, and they send photos of their walk with not just Parker but also my brother. I am comforted knowing that my whole family is under their watchful eye. (As a dog owner myself, I have worked with many services. Never have I seen anything even close to the services provided by the Arroyo Pet Team.) Andie

What a relief to have found Arroyo Pet! With an upcoming 2 week family vacation we thought our only option was a pet resort boarding facility for overnight care. Arroyo Pet's 'ALMOST OVERNIGHT' program worked perfectly! After each visit you receive a detailed activity recap along with plenty of photos. We looked forward to these everyday. Gricel and her team provided excellent communication and consistency in following instructions. Arroyo Pet is reliable, compassionate and professional in all they do. We had peace of mind while away and our dog, Solana, had a lots of fun and attention!

We’ve used Arroyo for both drop in and nail trimming services. The nail trimming is great, Gricel is patient with our dogs and makes the trim easy. The drop in service exceeded our expectations, we got so many photos and a detailed message from Billie. So happy to have found them, they really care about pets and providing excellent service.

The Arroyo Team has been absolutely fabulous! They treat our golden retriever Aelin as if it was our own and I love the updates they send after each walk, including photos from the walks. They are super accommodating and have been able to help out every single time we needed a walk!

Arroyo Pet is the most responsible, trustworthy pet sitter we have ever had. We have a special needs dog and we can always feel comfortable leaving him in their hands!

The Arroyo Pet team has been incredible for my 14-year-old senior dog. While I work from home as much as possible to be able to attend to his need, I have to leave on occasion - and having a trusted group of individuals who know how to care for senior dogs is so important. I would recommend them for any pet owner.
